Environmental education

Education is the most powerful tool available to transmit love and appreciation for nature and a sense of responsibility in its conservation. FLC implements workshops in different parts of the coast and nearby inland towns, particularly among primary and secondary school students.

Workshop/Course «Environmental Education: Perspectives and Tools» – Rocha edition

In September 2018 we co-organised with the NGO «Julana» a workshop/course, “Environmental Education – Perspectives and Tools”, held in the city of Rocha. This training is designed for educators, teachers and members of the public who are planning or carrying out environmental education activities. This 12-hour course is implemented in two stages. In the first stage, Julana instructors presented the essential concepts of environmental education so that in the second part participants were able to perform case studies and use environmental education tools.

This course is easily replicated anywhere in Uruguay, please contact us for further information.
