La Barra Trail

Located on the LA BARRA of Laguna de Rocha, 15 km from downtown La Paloma via Route 10, this 1.2 km trail offers a unique nature-immersion experience. Well-marked and with its first stretch (leading to the birdwatching viewpoint) wheelchair-accessible, the rest of the path continues over sand, accompanied by interpretive signage.
Along the route crossing the bar, you’ll find a picturesque artisanal fishing village, where you can enjoy local gastronomic offerings along the way.
